By accessing or using SkillLink ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

SkillLink is an online marketplace that connects clients seeking professional services with verified service providers ("Professionals") across Ghana. We facilitate connections but are not party to any service agreements between clients and professionals.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.

4. Professional Verification

SkillLink verifies professionals through background checks, identity verification, and skill assessment. While we strive to ensure all professionals meet our standards, we cannot guarantee the quality of services provided.

5. Payments and Fees

Clients agree to pay the agreed-upon price for services booked through the Platform. SkillLink processes payments securely and may charge service fees as disclosed. All payments must be made through the Platform's approved payment methods.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation policies vary by professional. Clients may cancel bookings according to the professional's stated cancellation policy. Refunds are processed according to our Refund Policy and applicable cancellation terms.

7. User Conduct

Users agree not to misuse the Platform, including but not limited to: posting false information, harassing other users, circumventing payment systems, or using the Platform for illegal purposes.

8. Limitation of Liability

SkillLink is not liable for any damages arising from the use of the Platform or services provided by professionals. Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by Ghanaian law.

9. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
